Supporting Victims of Terror in April 2022

Terrorism is, unfortunately, a fact of life for millions of people in countries across the globe, but especially in the Land of Israel.

As terror attacks continue to shock the country, we have to remember that terror survivors and their families need constant, and long-term support. They live with trauma, and often physical pain, their whole lives.

Meet the families of two terror victims who your donations assisted this past April:

The Lebel Family live in Jerusalem, in poverty. Nineteen years ago, Mr. Lebel was dancing with his brother at the Western Wall, celebrating his brother’s recent engagement. On the bus ride back home, a terrorist blew up their bus. Mr. Lebel miraculously survived, but his brother tragically died in his arms. Since then, Mr. Lebel has unfortunately been non-functional both mentally and emotionally. Mrs. Lebel has carried the family since then and runs a wonderful, warm, loving home. Recently, the family’s electricity was about to be shut off and Mrs. Lebel had no way to pay the overdue bill. Thank God, Israel365’s donors generously covered her bill. The Lebel family is extremely grateful to everyone who helped. Thank you!

The Shemla Family live in a small mobile home on a hill in Samaria. Mr. Shemla lost his foot when he was shot in the leg, and then after, the leg from the knee down had to be amputated. The Shemlas are a brave couple with two toddlers, and are trying to start a farm in their settlement. While their life is challenging, they have tremendous faith. Israel365’s donors helped them financially with Passover expenses, and allowed them to have a beautiful holiday.

With more Israelis becoming victims of terror every day, please donate. Together, we can care for them for years to come.

Dancing Through Life

Binyamin had a smile that lit up the room and a personality that brought joy to all who knew him. He was a happy young man who loved to dance. Though we are broken over his loss, we realized that the only way to properly honor him was to bring joy to others – and party like only Binyamin knew how!
