Summer 2022 Update – Renovating Holocaust Survivors’ Apartments
June 2, 2022

Thanks to all of the generous donors who contributed to renovations of Holocaust Survivors’ apartments.

In the first five months of 2022, our partner Gabi and his team have fixed or completely renovated 28 apartments!

The work was done in four municipalities, with the vast majority in the Holy City of Jerusalem.

One full renovation was done on a dangerously dilapidated apartment. It required gutting the entire apartment, replacing the bathroom, kitchen, windows, doors, flooring tiles, and restoring the crumbling walls. The story is miraculous.

Other apartments needed wall repair, fixing of hot water heaters and solar panels, sealing windows, replacing plumbing and electrical systems, improving handicapped accessibility, and much more.

Your contributions make a direct impact on Survivor’s daily lives. In many cases, they will actually live longer because of the repairs made to their apartments.

It’s a big blessing to be part of this, and there’s more work to do, so stick with us.

Become a monthly donor to our Guardians of Israel program, and you’ll impact these Holocaust Survivors plus five other incredible causes here in Israel.
