Product Description

Now is the time to help bring Biblical prophecy to life and make the desert bloom!

As it is written: “When you come to the Land, you shall plant trees” (Leviticus 19:23). Since the Jews began returning to the Land, they looked to this verse for inspiration and planted trees. In fact, since 1901, through the Jewish National Fund, over 240,000,000 trees have been hand-planted in Israel. Now is your chance to make a lasting impact on the Land of Israel by planting your tree in Israel. Fulfill the words of the Bible as you plant a tree, in your honor or in honor of a loved one. You will receive a beautiful, personalized certificate demonstrating that you have made a permanent impact upon the Land of Israel.

In the Bible

And out of the ground made Hashem God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
--GENESIS 2:9

According to the simple meaning of the text in Genesis, God created a lovely garden in Eden for the purpose of beautifying the land for humanity, as well as to provide sustenance and nourishment. Placed in the middle of the Garden is what God called the "Tree of Life". Throughout history, Jewish scholars have interpreted these words to directly apply to the Torah, the Hebrew Bible. In the way a tree can sustain a person's physical life, by providing food, shade or wood, how much more so can God's Torah, which is the source of the richest spiritual nourishment for the soul. For this reason, trees are not only a valuable asset to the Holy Land, giving a means of livelihood through its entire being, but a truly cherished symbol of the Torah as the single most precious commodity since the beginning of time. Adding trees to Israel's landscape is a way of saying "I am devoting my life to God's Torah". Plant a tree today and help Israel flourish!

  1. Question

What kind of trees are available for planting? Can I request a certain kind of tree? If so, I would choose a brown turkey fig tree, if that’s a good choice. I enjoyed picking 6 pounds of brown turkey figs earlier this summer, and fully enjoyed eating them! How very delicious they were!!! If not, I’ll plant whatever tree you recommend.

Shalom! Thank you for being in touch. We leave it up to the experts to decide which types of trees should be planted and in which regions. We simply provide the necessary funds.

Where would the tree be planted? Would I know the location and come to visit the site one day?

Shalom, at this time all trees are being planted in Bat Ayin, a community in the hills of Judea. There are no plaques nor signs being placed indicating who specifically planted which tree, but you may fairly assume your tree will be among the group that was planted in Bat Ayin.
