Help Israeli Farmers observe the Shmita year and follow God’s word

Israeli farmers have stopped working their fields for the entire year

Meet Israel’s Faithful Farmers

Wait…What is Shmita?

Shmita (The Sabbatical year) is a once-in-seven-year Biblical commandment where farmers in Israel stop working their fields for an entire year.

“But in the seventh year, the land shall have a Shabbat of complete rest, a Shabbat of Hashem (God): you shall not sow your field or prune your vineyard.” (Leviticus 25:4)

This means that it is forbidden for anyone to plant or sell any produce grown in the Land of Israel during the Shmita Year. All fields must remain untouched.

And even though Israeli farmers will not be making any money from their fields…they’re still following the Shmita year, all in honor of God’s will.

Israel’s brave farmers trust in God more than they trust in money or anything else.

After 2,000 years, God has miraculously returned His People to the Land of Israel.

Israeli farmers finally have the merit to keep the sacred commandment of the Shmita (Sabbatical) year, bringing the prophecy of once again observing Shmita to life.

How YOU can take part in Shmita

Shmita is the once-in-seven-year Biblical opportunity for all of us to connect to God through the Land of Israel.

YOU can be a part of this incredible Biblical year: The Year of the Lord and the year of Land.

Because of these farmers’ deep Emunah (Faith and Trust in God), they are sacrificing their livelihoods for an entire year, all in the name of God’s will.

Many of these faithful farmers need help paying their bills and feeding their families during this INCREDIBLE Shmita year!

YOU can partner with Israel’s faithful farmers and ensure they can keep God’s word during the prophetic Shmita year.

I’ve heard something about a triple blessing for Shmita. Is that true? If it is, why do you need me?

You are correct! The Bible does talk about a triple blessing.

When it comes to the triple blessing, most Jewish sages understand that the triple blessing will only come to fruition during the messianic era, when we have the Third Temple.

Until the coming of the Messiah, we need to continue our faith and keep God’s word.

These farmers knew Shmita was coming! Why didn’t they save up?

Great question!

Many farmers do save up for Shmita, and unfortunately, their saving is often not enough to sustain their families throughout the Shmita year.

There are two main reasons for this:

  • Arab terrorists regularly try to destroy our farmer’s fields (and years of hard work). The costs for protecting these fields can reach thousands of dollars per year.
    • To buy fields and advanced farming equipment, many Israeli farmers rely on loans from banks to pay for this equipment. The big banks do not care about Shmita and the fact that these farmers are following God’s word, and they still expect these farmers to pay their loans even though they don’t have an income for the entire year.

    Thank You
