IDF Lone Soldier Tu B’Shevat Gift Boxes
January 24, 2022

Every year thousands of young adults move from their home country back to their Homeland with one sole purpose: protecting and defending the Land and the People of Israel.

Thousands of miles away from their families, these devoted young adults draft into the Israel Defense Forces. These soldiers are called Lone Soldiers – soldiers who are alone and away from their families.

We believe that no IDF soldier, especially soldiers who have left everything to bring prophecy to life, should ever feel alone. That’s why we run monthly projects for Lone Soldiers, to provide assistance and feeling of family and home.

For the holiday of Tu B’Shevat, the new year for the fruit trees, we made and delivered holiday care packages. These boxes were filled with fruits and other edibles containing the Seven Species of produce mentioned in Deuteronomy 8:8.

All items were made by local Israeli businesses, including the Bible-themed beer “In The Beginning.”

As you can imagine, the Lone Soldiers really enjoyed the care packages. And they’re looking forward to the Purim baskets in March!

We thank our donors for making this possible and supporting our self-sacrificing soldiers as they risk their lives to protect the Holy Land.
