Care For Israel’s Aging Holocaust Survivors

”Do not cast me off in old age; when my strength fails, do not forsake me!”
(Psalms 71:9)

Why Care For Israel’s Holocaust Survivors?

Many of the elderly Holocaust Survivors in Israel are suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia. Provide therapies and treatments for them to live out their remaining days in peace and dignity.

Show Reverence for the Elders of Israel

“You shall rise before the aged and show deference to the old; you shall fear your God: I am Hashem” (Leviticus 19:32).

Promote Love and Peace Between Nations

Nation shall not take up sword against nation; They shall never again know war” (Isaiah 2:4).

Replace Pain and Suffering With Care and Compassion

“He is like a tree planted beside streams of water, which yields its fruit in season, whose foliage never fades, and whatever it produces thrives” (Psalms 1:3).

From Rabbi Tuly Weisz

The Israel Welfare Ministry and Finance Ministry’s Authority for Holocaust Survivors’ Rights approximates that there are 60,000 Holocaust survivors living today in Israel below the poverty line. This means they cannot afford nutritious food, proper housing, or medical care and therapy. And, government assistance is not nearly enough.

Your donation gives physical and spiritual support to Holocaust survivors in Israel who often feel that they have been abandoned. Help from Jews and Christians like yourself lets Israel’s Holocaust survivors know that they are not forgotten and good people care about their welfare.

With blessings,
