Israelis have been crushed by a second wave of COVID-19. Israel’s economy is suffering. Low income and middle class families are out of jobs and out of money. Israel365, a non-profit organization that helps Israeli’s who are in need of financial assistance, created a relief fund for families who have been hit hardest by the pandemic. Unemployment has surged and there are nearly 1,000,000 Israeli’s who are out of a job today. 

In Be’er Sheba the situation is particularly dire. They are experiencing one of the worst financial crises in the history of the city. Be’er Sheba is home to thousands of young families with small children and university graduates looking to start their lives. COVID-19 and the recent lockdown are leaving these individuals jobless and hopeless. They desperately need our help.

The goal of the Relief Fund is to raise $60,000, with the help of friends from around the world who love Israel, to help pay the utility bills for the needy. Some families have lost access to their power, and others are close to facing a similar fate.
