B"H how tragic and senseless - nobody thought such a heinous crime could happen there, and it's a wake up call we all should hear, in today's world there is no knowing where it will happen... her virtues are preserved for the next world... there are no more opportunities to live less than a perfect life that could counteract the merit she earned in her virtuous life... no temptations … Read more
B"H how tragic and senseless - nobody thought such a heinous crime could happen there, and it's a wake up call we all should hear, in today's world there is no knowing where it will happen... her virtues are preserved for the next world... there are no more opportunities to live less than a perfect life that could counteract the merit she earned in her virtuous life... no temptations any more that could cause her to lose her special place in Olam HoEmes and in Olam HaBa'ah... so many people will miss her ... but if Americans don't give, don't think we do not care... it could be that many Jews in America are trying to straighten out the mess over here and trying to encourage non-Jews in our area in matters of Sheva Mitzvot.... what we have to do, so that our job in Golus will be done, and we can return to Eretz HaKodesh for Kibbutz Galuyoseinu... some of us can't until we've fuflilled our tafkidim out here but the time will come and probably more of us in America know what happened and care, it's just a lot of people are having a hard time managing here, it seems for various reasons... so don't give up hope, we will be inspired by the story of who she was, and someday the hard work will all be over, and we will be together, in a good and auspicious time. Don't give up, please keep hoping. HaMakom Yenachem Eschem B'Soch She'ar Oveilim b'Yisroel u'b'Yerushalayim. May you know no more sorrow.

Esther Horgan, a 52-year-old mother of six from Tel Menashe in Samaria, was killed by terrorists while she was jogging in the middle of the day on Sunday, December 20th.
Esther left behind a husband and six orphans – two girls and four boys. Her youngest is 13-years old and celebrated his bar mitzvah only 3 months ago.

a personal appeal from rabbi tuly weisz

Esther Horgan, a 52-year-old mother of six was killed by terrorists in broad daylight, while out on a jog yesterday afternoon. After a frantic search, her body was discovered this morning, only a few minutes away from her home in Tal Menashe, Israel.
Esther leaves behind her husband Benjamin, two daughters and four sons, one of whom just recently celebrated his Bar Mitzvah. The pain of suddenly being left without a mother and wife is impossible to comprehend. Their whole world has been shattered.
The Bible instructs us to “Comfort, comfort My people O Israel” and now is our chance to provide comfort and financial assistance to the family of Esther Horgan. 100% will be immediately transferred to Esther’s grieving family, so please click here and give generously.
Esther moved to Israel from France, she made “Aliyah” to live in the Jewish homeland. The town of Tal Menashe (“the dew of Menasseh” in Hebrew) is in Samaria, the biblical portion of Menasseh, and Esther gave her life paying the ultimate price for her devotion to the Land of Israel.
We must stand strong in the face of terror and send a message to the cowards behind this attack that they will not break us. The Jewish People are here to stay.
Thank you for your consideration, and for showing the People of Israel, and the Horgan family, your love and support.
With tears from Jerusalem,
Rabbi Tuly Weisz
