Tragedy in Israel
A widow and orphan need your help

Yehuda Dimentman, a 25-year-old father from Homesh, a town in Samaria, was on his way home from Yeshiva to see his one-year-old son after a long day of studying the Torah.

On the drive home, three Palestinian terrorists ambushed Yehudahs car and fired ten lethal bullets that killed Yehudah on the spot.

Yehudah was murdered for one simple reason: he was a Jew living in his Biblical Homeland.

Yehudah was an honest man who devoted his life to studying Torah and settling the Land of Israel. He leaves behind his wife, Itiah, and one-year-old son, David.

The pain of a child growing up without ever knowing his father or a widow losing her breadwinner is impossible to comprehend. Their whole world has been shattered.

The Bible instructs us to “Comfort, comfort My people O’ Israel” and now is our chance to provide comfort and financial assistance to the family of Yehudah Dimentman.

Itiah and David need your help.

We’re raising $72,000 to provide Yehudah’s grieving family comfort and financial support for the next two years.

Your donation is a sign of love, care, and support. It’s a hug from thousands of miles away.

100% of your donation will be transferred to Yehudah’s grieving wife, Itiah, so please give generously.

Thank you for comforting the people of Israel.

Comfort, oh comfort My people, Says your God.
נַחֲמוּ נַחֲמוּ עַמִּי יֹאמַר אֱלֹהֵיכֶם׃
Isaiah 40:1

“Yehudah was murdered only because he was a Jew living in his country. My deepest condolences to his wife, parents, and the entire family. The people of Israel will eventually live securely in this land. May his memory be a blessing.”
Naftali Bennet
Israeli Prime Minister
"Yehuda fell as a warrior for the Land of Israel and the Torah of Israel. We have a right to defend ourselves fiercely. The goal of the terrorists is to expel us and make us afraid and leave here, so we need more settlements and maintain an iron fist against terrorists. I will plan how to bring two million settlers here. That's the answer."
Nir Barkat
Former Mayor of Jerusalem and Current Knesset Member

FAQs

Is my donation tax-deductible?

It depends on where you live. Donations are tax-deductible in the USA and are processed by our non-profit Teach for Israel which is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the USA.

How much of my donation goes directly to the cause and how much goes towards overhead costs.
Great question. This also depends on the campaign. For our ongoing campaigns like planting trees, supporting IDF soldiers or supporting Holocaust survivors, 70% goes directly to the cause and 30% goes towards overhead costs. When it comes to Emergency campaigns, like Meron, Old City Fire or the Holon Building collapse, 100% of donations go directly to the cause.
You seem to have varied projects and causes. What is the underlying mission that connects all that you do?
Great Question. Our mission is guided by the statement – The People of Israel in the Land of Israel adhering to the God of Israel. If you look at any of our projects they fall under on these core categories. Our Israel Bible for example falls under the God of Israel and planting trees falls under the Land of Israel and helping Israeli soldiers falls under the People of Israel. We believe that by strengthening these 3 pillars we are bringing God more into this world and thereby transforming the world.
How do I send a check (cheque) and who do I make it out to?

A letter from our founder, Rabbi Tuly Weisz

I started Israel365 in 2012 as an email to friends and family. The goal was to connect the Lovers of Israel with the Land and People of Israel, every day of the year.

“It is a land which Hashem God looks after, on which Hashem your God always keeps His eye, from year’s beginning to year’s end.” (Deuteronomy 11:12)

Ten years later, Israel 365 has blossomed. We now bring the Land of the Bible into the homes and hearts of millions of Jews and Christians around the world. Our readers love our daily emails, our Israel Bible, and the causes we support. Our regular charity projects in Israel include renovating the apartments of Holocaust survivors, programs for IDF soldiers, and assisting terror victims financially. We also plant trees to beautify the Land, and support farmers who observe the Sabbatical (Shemittah) year.

Please join us and bring the blessings of the Land and People of Israel to the whole world.

“I will bless those who bless you…And all the families of the earth will bless themselves by you.” (Genesis 12:3)
