Israel365’s agriculture specialist Baruch visited the community of Tel Binyamin to plant trees donated by Israel365 donors. Tel Binyamin is located just minutes from Shechem, the city which Abraham passed through upon entering the Land of Israel for the first time.
“Avram passed through the land as far as the site of Shechem, at the terebinth of More. The Canaanites were then in the land. Hashem appeared to Avram and said, “I will assign this land to your offspring.” And he built a mizbayach there to Hashem who has appeared to him” (Genesis 12:6-7).
Residents have been living in the community of Tel Binyamin for over 20 years. These residents feel passionately about living in the same geographic locations as their Biblical ancestors. They believe that their presence in Tel Binyamin strengthens the connection between the Jewish People to the Land of Israel. This devoted community expressed their deep gratitude to Israel365 donors who contributed to the tree planting campaign. Tel Binyamin residents are determined to continue developing the agriculture and forestation in this region and maintain a strong and vibrant Jewish presence in this region of the Biblical heartland.
Thank you to the Israel365 donors who continue to support our tree planting initiatives. CLICK HERE to embrace an Israeli community and leave your mark on God’s land.
